Whether you’re trying to shed a few extra pounds or take a conscious effort to start taking better care of your body and give it more nutritious liquids, detox waters are a great place to start.

Water is and always will be recommended to be taken daily, with just 6 to 8 glasses helping to keep you hydrated and keeping your vital organs in good health.

We have several detox waters we’re going to suggest each adding their own benefits, but mainly the taste will be the major difference. Simply take a large drinking bottle, fill with fresh water and the contents below.

Strawberry and Grapefruit Detox

  • 1 whole cucumber sliced thin
  • 2 grapefruits quartered
  • A handful of fresh strawberries halved

Pineapple Lime Water

  • The juice of 2 limes
  • 1 lemon quartered
  • Pineapple wedges
  • Fresh parsley leaves

Ginger and Mint Cool Detox Water

  • 1 cucumber sliced thin
  • Fresh, peeled ginger chunked chops
  • 2 lemon/lime wedges
  • 10-12 fresh mint leaves

Watermelon Citrus Detox Water

  • 1 quarter of watermelon, chunks
  • The juice of half a lemon
  • The juice of a whole orange
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 orange wedge
  • Quarter of a cucumber sliced

Herbal oregano Detox Water

  • 1 and a half stalks of rosemary
  • 1 and a half dried oregano leaves
  • Half a cucumber sliced thinly
  • 1 kiwi, cubed

Herbal Apple Water

  • 1 whole apple, sliced thin
  • 2 orange wedges
  • 2 pinches of rosemary

Lemon Ginger Detox Water

  • Juice from 2 whole lemons
  • 1 whole lemon quartered
  • Chop finely 1 inch of fresh ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon of ground chilli powder

Citrus Aloe Vera Detox Water

  • 2 whole oranges, quartered
  • Fresh juice from 1 whole lemon
  • 100ml of inner leaf aloe vera gel
  • Mint leaves to taste

Overall, you don’t have to drink plain water. With all of the above, you can simply add it to your water bottle or a large drink canter within your fridge. These detox waters will help to flush out those harmful toxins in your body.
